Co-op Release Description

Matures September 25 to 30 at Lafayette, Indiana (4 weeks after 'Prima' and with 'Starking Delicious'). Fruit 2-1/2 to 3 inches, roundish to slight conical. Color 90% medium red on a pale yellow background, smooth and glossy. Flesh cream colored, crisp and juicy. Flavor mild subacid. Dessert quality, good, somewhat similar to 'Starking Delicious.' Fruits retain texture and firmness up to 4 months in storage. Field immune to scab and cedar apple rust; good resistance to powdery mildew and fireblight. Nice spreading tree type and a good annual bearer. Tested as PWR17T161.
