5-Phosphoribosylanthranilate transferase
The PAT1 gene also has a leader sequence consistent with the hypothesis that PAT is localized in the chloroplast. Note there is only one PAT gene in Arabidopsis, c.f. at least two ASB genes, two tryptophan synthase B genes, and three phosphoribosylanthranilate isomerase (PAI) genes (Li et al, 1995)!
