Purdue's Plant Propagation CD wins Garden Writers Association and ACE awards.

The Plant Propagation CD created at Purdue University has received awards from both the Garden Writers Association and the Association for Communication Excellence.

The Garden Writers Association (GWA) announced on March 29, 2005, that Plant Propagation will receive three bronze 2005 GWA Media Awards at the Annual Awards Banquet to be held September 12, 2005, at the 57th Annual GWA Symposium in Vancouver, Canada. The CD won awards in the following categories: Graphic Design in Electronic Media, Writing in Electronic Media, and Overall Product in Electronic Media.

The Association for Communication Excellence in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Life and Human Sciences (ACE) has given the Plant Propagation CD a Gold Award for Distance Education and Instructional Design, non-credit educational project. The award will be presented at the 2005 International Meeting in San Antonio, Texas, on June 1, 2005.

The American Society for Horticultural Science (ASHS) presented the Plant Propagation CD with the Outstanding CD-Rom, Extension Educational Materials Award at the ASHS Extension/Industry Banquet held on July 20, 2005.
