Matures 5-6 weeks after 'Prima' and 10 days after 'Golden Delicious' at Urbana, Illinois. Fruit up to 2 3/4 inches, round to slightly conic. Color pale yellow with occasional slight red blush. Skin smooth, russet free, tough, moderately thick, medium to small inconspicuous russet dots, good finish. Moderately attractive. Flesh pale yellow, fine grained, unusually firm, and with excellent resistance to bruising. Moderately juicy. Flavor mild sub-acid, up to 16% sugar. Dessert quality good, with perfume. Flesh retains firm texture 10 months in storage with little shriveling. Immune to apple scab and little apple mildew or fireblight observed. Unusual ability to hang on tree eliminates need for stop-drop sprays. Fruit does not crack either on the tree or in storage.
