Fruit 2 3/4 to 3 inches, roundish oblate, 60% medium-dark red on bright yellow ground, glossy and attractive. Skin tender and thin. Flesh yellowish, fine-grained, firm crisp, juicy, mild sub-acid. Quality good to very good. Retains texture and flavor 4 weeks at 34°F. Matures 10 days ahead of 'McIntosh'. Moderately vigorous spreading tree. Immune to scab. No fireblight, mildew or apple blotch observed in the field.
