Eugenia species

Eugenia is a genus of over 1,000 species. Many species from south east Asia and Australia have been segregated into the genus Syzygium.

The genus Eugenia is considered to be largely American. The genus Syzygium is interpreted by some to be primarily Asiatic and Australian.
