Guide to Herb Varieties As Listed in Selected Seed and Herb Plant Catalogs

We provide to you an edited version of herbs listed by all the commercial varieties that are available based upon the catalog selections offered by many of the common and popular seed companies and nurseries. The first part of this guide is a listing of all the herbs, by variety name, including some information on the varieties by the commercial companies. The second part of this listing includes the mailing addresses, e-mail addresses, and phone numbers of each company included in this compilation.

While this list includes many herb company listings, it is not at present an exclusive "all-encompassing" list. However, as the number of varieties available continues to grow, we found no other source guide to locate specific varieties. This guide was prepared to assist growers seeking to locate a specific variety and to more easily compare offerings between different sources. As such, Purdue University assumes no liability for any omissions, or incomplete/inaccurate data listed herein, whether from our error in transcribing their entries or in catalog errors by the commercial company.
