Hotel and Lodging Information
The symposium will be held at the Adam's Mark Hotel, Indianapolis. Lecture
rooms, poster area, and restaurants are excellent. Those attending will be
able to relax in the hotel's indoor pool, game room, and exercise room. The
hotel offers excellent dining facilities.
We have reserved a limited number of rooms at the Adam's Mark Hotel, so make
your reservations early. Reservations may be made by returning the enclosed
registration card or by calling the hotel directly at: 317/248-2481. Be
sure to mention that you are attending the Third National NEW CROPS Symposium
in order to receive the special conference rate of $85/night.
Most commercial airlines fly into Indianapolis International Airport. Irvine
Travel Service in West Lafayette, Indiana has arranged a special travel
discount with USAIR and American Airlines. These discounts are 5% off the
lowest applicable fare (including supersavers), or 10% off coach fare. You
must meet all restrictions that are in effect on the date of ticketing. Please

service to all participants.
Ample free parking is available at the Adam's Mark Hotel for those who will be
driving to the conference. Indianapolis may be reached on Interstates
I-65, I-69, I-70, and I-74. The hotel is located just one mile east of
Indianapolis International Airport. Exit Airport Express East from I-465.
Purdue University is not responsible for expenses incurred due to cancellation.
Indianapolis offers many fine cultural attractions that will be of interest to
spouses and children (Indianapolis Museum of Art, Eiteljorg Museum of Indian Art, The Childrens Museum, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Indianapolis Zoo, Connor Prarie Settlement), all are within short driving
distance of the Adam's Mark.
A Tuesday afternoon spouse program will be arranged to visit the Indianapolis
Museum of Art. Visits to the Eiteljorg Museum of Indian Art can be arranged.
Exhibit space is available for academic or commercial exhibits. Please check
the registration form to receive further information.
Please return the attached form as soon as possible to guarantee advance
registration. The registration fee for the conference is $190 if postmarked
before July 15, 1995 and $225 afterwards. This includes the program and
abstract book, a copy of the proceedings, and one banquet ticket. Extra
banquet tickets should be purchased early as space is limited. Student
registration is $50 ($55 after July 15, 1995; proceedings and banquet not
included).
Written requests for refunds received prior to October 11, 1995 will be honored
in full. After this date a $50 handling fee will be assessed.
A special New Crops banquet will feature an extravaganza of new foods!!!
