The Purdue Horticulture Club meet at 7:00 P.M. on November
15th , 2006 in Hort 117. Bob Jackson Landscapes talked to the club about their
company and did some activities with us. Old and New business was discussed.
For old business we discussed the LUM dinner, a sign up sheet was passed around.
The club also took up the donation of nonperishable food for the Boilermaker
Fall Harvest Food Drive. A sign up sheet was passed around for the club’s
annual Christmas dinner. There will also be a white elephant gift exchange,
if you would like to participate you should bring a gift no more than $5. The
dinner will be held at Dr. Joly’s house this year, directions will be
e-mailed or members can meet at the Hort. building at 6:15.
For new business we asked for a volunteer to decorate the Christmas ornament
for the club to hang on the tree in the Union. Also if anyone was interested
they could purchase a t-shirt from ag-council by giving their money to Lindsey
Varner. She will have the shirts at the Christmas party.
The next meeting will be November 29th , 2006 at 6:30 p.m. It will take place
at Dr. Joly’s house where we will celebrate Christmas.
