The Purdue Horticulture Club meet at 7:00 P.M. on November
1st , 2006 in Hort 117. Our activity for the meeting was making boutonnieres
and corsages. Old and New business was discussed.
For old business we discussed potting up Easter Lilies. We will be potting them
during dead week, a time will be announced later. The Riley donation will be
delivered soon. The check will be for $800. The service project in the Horticulture
Garden will take place on November 11th from 12-4 with a cookout following.
All members are welcome to come, a sign up sheet was passed around. The MACHS
meeting will take place on November 8th, everyone will receive an e-mail with
location and time.
For new business we talked about possibly decorating and selling Christmas Wreaths
as a fund raiser. The club was also asked to bring one nonperishable food item
to the next meeting for the 7th Annual Boilermaker Fall Harvest Food Drive.
The next meeting will be November 15th , 2006 at 7p.m. Bob Jackson Landscapes
will be visiting from Baltimore, Maryland. We will also talk about the Christmas
party and have a sign up sheet for the LUM dinner.
