94th Annual HORT SHOW 2007

"Plant Paradise!"

The Annual Horticulture Show has enjoyed a 93 year long tradition of excellence. This year's show, the 94th, is no different. This year's "Plant Paradise" theme brings a little tropical flair to the garden with an array of boardwalks, water features, colorful perrenials, annuals, trees, shrubs, a children's booth full of fun activities, and knowledgeable Horticultural Society members to answer questions concerning horticulture.

This year's show, like all the others, has been a culmination of countless individual efforts and generosities. I want to start by thanking all the companies who donated materials for this year's show. Their kindness and generosity have helped make this year's show possible. Please support the companies listed on this website as they have supported us through this show. I also want to extend a special thank you to all the hard working club members who have put in countless hours taking this show from concept to reality. This show could not happen without you. Thank you to the Horticulture and Landscape Architecture faculty and staff, and the families of the club members, who have donated their time, vehicles, and encouragement along the way. Last, but certainly not least, I want to give a big thank you to Craig Schluttenhoffer, my co-chair throughout this process, for all his input and help that should not go unmentioned.

Through rain, wind, and the threat of frost, the 94th annual Horticulture Show has carried on the tradition of the previous 93 years.

Please take some time to explore our display garden, interact with the club members, and visit our children's booth and plant sale.

Sincerely, Adam Vogel, 2007 Horticulture Show Chairman
