How do I arrange Balled and bur lapped trees and shrubs?
This seems to be a question with a lot of people buying a new tree or shrub, and the solution is very simple. First, figure out a spot that your plant will work best at. The wire basket and burlap can be left on, but the burlap must be removed from the collar of the tree or shrub so that it doesn’t harm growth. Usually the upper 2/3 is removed. The upper 2/3 of the wire basket should also be removed once the plant is in the ground. By following these steps, your tree or shrub should do just fine.
