A Note from the Editor:

My retirement date of July 31 is [slowly] approaching. This is the last issue of the newsletter that I will be publishing. I have enjoyed putting the newsletter together and hope I have reported the news to everyone's satisfaction. It helps immensely when you send us news that we need to report (keep that in mind when the new Editor takes over).

I have enjoyed the 20 years I have worked in the Horticulture Department. I count all of you as friends and I will probably miss the day-to-day interaction with each of you. But...I am looking forward to retirement and being "free" to spend more time with my grandchildren and just enjoy life (plus catch up on all the work that has gone undone for 20 years-boy, will I be busy!!). We don't have any plans to move away, so I will probably be seeing some of you from time to time.
