Bruce Bordelon and his colleagues in the Purdue Wine Grape Programs received the Dean's Team Award and were honored at a ceremony and seminar on April 16. Congratulations, Bruce!
Congratulations to Harrison Flint on publication of the second edition of "Landscape Plants for Eastern North America". This book remains the core reference on landscape design in eastern North America.
Randy Woodson received $5,000 from Yoder Brothers, Inc. in support of his research project on flower crop transformation.
Avtar Handa received an additional $9,870 from Heinz USA to support genetic tomato research.
Ragu Raghothama received $3,500 from Mid-America Food Processors Association to support tomato research.
Allen Hammer received $4,700 from Fischer USA, Inc. in support of his research program.
Don Molnar received $500 from the Hichcock Design Group in support of LA computer programs.
