Dr. Doh-Hoon Kim has joined K.G. Raghothama's lab as a visiting scholar. Dr. Kim is an Associate Professor in the Department of Agronomy, Dong-A University, South Korea and will be working in Ragu's lab through January 31, 1998.

Rosie Lerner was in Chicago, IL March 13 on a field trip with Tippecanoe Master Gardeners to attend the Chicago Flower Show.

Diana Lange was in Gainesville, FL March 9-15 to attend the Florida Postharvest Institute and Industry Tour and make a slide set of Florida produce operations/industries.

David Rhodes was in Washington, DC March 8-14 to chair the"Plant Responses to the Environment" panel meeting for the USDA-NRICGP.

Jules Janick was in Lisbon, Vilamoura, Portugal and Cordoba, Spain March 8-22 to present the keynote address at II Congress Iberoamerican and present lecture at the University of Cordoba.

Bob Joly and Cary Mitchell were in Cairo, Egypt March 7-15 to participate in the bi-national workshop on advanced technologies for utilization of wild Egyptian plants. This is a joint Purdue University/Ain Shams University Workshop.

Bonnie McClain was in Madison, WI and San Francisco, CA March 6-12 to attend NASA Workshop at Madison and Inter-Center Working Group Meeting-NASA Life Sciences Education at Ames Research Center.

Don Molnar was in Philadelphia, PA, Washington, DC, Charlotte, NC, Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale, and Orlando, FL, and Atlanta, GA March 3-14 to visit co-op offices and students.

Bonnie McClain was in Dayton, OH March 1-2 to speak at the Great Lakes Region Aviation and Space Education Conference.

Randy Woodson was in University Park, PA March 2-5 to participate in a review of the Horticulture Department at Penn State University.

Fetch version 3.0.3 adds support for resuming an interrupted download and other useful features.

You can run Fetch on the fileserver, or you can download it to your own computer for faster performance. Just drag the whole Fetch folder to your harddrive, or run the Fetch Installer (located in the same folder).
