Sally Peart, a Business Office Trainee, is working in the Horticulture Business Office on Tuesdays and Thursdays assisting Angie and Barbara.

Lanying Zhang, Xia Li, Xiaomu Niu, and Kui Lin were in Johnston, IA December 11-13, 1996 to visit with Pioneer to discuss sorghum transformation project.

Glenn Sullivan was in Guadalajara/Puerto Vallarta, Mexico December 8-14, 1996 to attend Bancomext/NAFTA meetings and producer strategic alliance discussions, and make NAFTA site visits.

Darrel Daniels, Chad Hutchinson, Maria Salas, Jennifer Rushman, and Zonda Birge were in St. Louis, MO December 9-12, 1996 to attend the North Central Weed Science meetings.

Allen Hammer was in St. Louis, MO December 8, 1996 to participate in the Ball Internship meeting.

Allen Hammer was in Gainesville, FL December 9-10, 1996 to perform poinsettia evaluations at the University of Florida and tour several greenhouses in Florida.

David Rhodes was in Washington, DC December 14-21, 1996 to work with USDA-NRICGP to assign reviewers to proposals received by Plant Responses to the Environment Program for 1997.
