Saturn, from Seedway, for comparison, was harvested at the same time, also a short ear. Emergence and early vigor were fair.

Moderate reaction to rust (5) and moderately resistant to SW (3). Very susceptible to MDM.

Plants over 6 ft. tall with some short tillers, ears 2 to 2.5 ft. above ground. Early vigor was fair. Comments from field: kernels extend from tip. Flag leaves mostly medium to long.
