We planted the se trial in the third week of May, after a rainy period, and the sh2 trial about a week later. They both took about 10 days to spike. The se trial especially look stressed when it emerged. In that trial we also had one rep that was eaten ground squirrels and so wasn’t included in analysis. The research farm got a personal hail storm on June 28, but corn recovered and we went on to harvest beginning the first and second weeks of August. According to growing degree day accumulation from planting, we were about 2 weeks behind schedule.
