Notes:
Saturn bicolor brings us to the supersweets. This is a standard sh2, harvested at 83 days. We had several earlier varieties, but the ear quality just wasn’t good on them. Husks are tight on this variety.
No report on disease tolerance.
Plants over 6’ tall with few tillers and ears 1.5 to 2 ft. above ground. Comments from field: flags mostly medium, husk is very tight, kernels extend from tip of ear.
