Nectarine - Tree

Nectarine trees are small to medium sized short-lived trees, only living for about 12 years. They are often grafted onto other rootstocks, similar to apple trees, which controls maximum height. If left to grow on their own rootstocks, nectarines will reach a height of  8 to 20 feet. Most varieties are self-pollinating, therefore only one tree will need to be planted to obtain fruit.
