Avocado - Tree

The avocado tree is a large, broad evergreen tree that can reach a height of 80 feet.  It takes a avocado seedling 8 to 20 years to produce avocados.  For this reason, avocados are often grafted onto rootstocks so the tree can produce fruit sooner, often in 2 years.
