African Violet

A popular flowering houseplant, the African violet is distinguished by fuzzy, oval-to heart-shaped leaves that grow in a rosette from a thickened fleshy crown. The clusters of blooms may be single or double, one color or bi-colored, or may be ruffled around the edges of the petals. Colors range from pink and red to blue, purple, or white.
